The residents of Inglefield Nursing and Residential Care Home, located in Totland Bay, have embarked on a heart-warming mission to uplift the spirits of the local community.
They have created and decorated stunning clay models with the intention of brightening someone’s day and spreading happiness.
In anticipation of the early bank holiday weekend, the residents took a delightful walk to hang their beautiful decorations in Totland. As they carefully placed each piece, they basked in the serenity of the surroundings, watching the boats glide by, with hopes that passers-by would notice and be enchanted by their creations.
Charlotte Willis, the Home Manager at Inglefield, expressed her excitement about this beautiful gesture, stating:
“Everyone was overjoyed to be a part of this initiative.
“Our residents put their heart and soul into creating these little surprise gifts, making them as pretty as can be. The act of hanging the decorations filled everyone with happiness, and the day was truly enjoyed by all.”
These clay models, crafted with love and care by the residents, are meant to serve as tokens of happiness for members of the local community.

It’s a pity that there isn’t a photo of the decorations, as inspiration for others.
