Blustery conditions have forced the suspension of Red Jet services this afternoon (Saturday).
As a result, services between Cowes and Southampton have been suspended until further notice.
Fellow cross-Solent operator Hovertravel has also had to suspend operations due to the blustery conditions.
It is thought that service will resume later today with the adverse weather set to ease. Despite this no current timeframe has been given.
Wightlink’s FastCat service is operational however delays of up to 10 minutes are being experienced.
UPDATE @ 15:45 – Red Jet service has resumed.
