The Royal Air Force’s iconic aerobatic display team, the Red Arrows, will be making a return to the Isle of Wight Festival this June.
It has been confirmed that the Red Arrows will be performing in the skies above Newport on Friday 17th June 2022 – the second day of the 4-day festival.
It will be all eyes to the sky in June with hopes of clear and sunny weather to enable a full display to take place.
The display team’s busy season kicks off on 2nd June at the Midlands Air Festival and wil conclude on 11th September at the Great North Run. Throughout 2022 the Red Arrows will visit the South on several occasions including Goodwood Festival of Speed (23rd/24th/25th/26th June), Eastbourne International Airshow (18th/19th/20th/21st August) and Bournemouth Air Festival (1st/2nd/3rd/4th September).
The new 2022 display will be revealed on successfully being granted Public Display Authority – usually in May.
