A man has been arrested and questioned by Police following a pursuit on the Isle of Wight last night (Friday).
The incident occurred at around 23:40 when local response officers tried to stop a vehicle.
The unnamed driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police and on suspicion of driving whilst over the drug-drive limit. He has been released under investigation to allow for analysis of blood.
