Residents and businesses in Whitwell remain without power this morning (Sunday) following an overnight outage in the South Wight area.
At 04:25 electricity supply was lost to properties in the PO36 and PO38 areas, however the majority of supplies were restored by 05:40.
Engineers from Southern and Scottish Electricity Networks are now working to restore supplies to the remaining 30 postcode areas in the Po38 2 region.
It is currently estimated that repairs should be completed by midday.
