A prisoner serving 2 life sentences, with an earliest release date more than 50 years away, has been handed additional jail time after admitting 4 counts of exposure at HMP Isle of Wight.
Tama Lee, 42, appeared via video link before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court, where he admitted the offences.
The court heard that on 25th October 2025, a female prison officer carrying out checks in the segregation unit was alerted to an issue in Lee’s cell. After an alarm was raised, the officer approached and opened the observation hatch, where Lee was seen standing naked, holding his erect penis and masturbating while maintaining eye contact.
A similar incident occurred just 2 days later on 27th October, when Lee was again observed masturbating through the observation hatch during routine checks.
Further offences took place some 5 months later, on 10th March and 17th March, with Lee repeating the same behaviour.
When interviewed by Police, Lee admitted the offences and stated that he would not have acted in the same way had male officers attended his cell.
The court was told that Lee has been in prison since 2005 and has a single conviction on his record, for which he received 2 life sentences. His most recent parole date was given as 2088.
Defending, Nick Muir told the court that his client should receive full credit for his guilty pleas and said that he was not feeling reformed while in custody.
Magistrates described the offences as ‘particularly nasty’ and handed Lee a 26-week prison sentence, to run consecutively. He was also ordered to pay a surcharge of £154.

OK, stoning to death or burning at the although arguably warranted and justifiable are frowned on by some but surely there circumstances where the death penalty is appropriate, and I do mean for the original, crimes, not these recent displays. Fancy wasting court time over a few J Arthur’s by an exhibitionist, and as for sentencing he can do it ever for the effect it will have. What about restricted privileges, no TV solitary, looking after a tiger in his cell might calm him. Stop him ever misbehaving again.
