PRISON CELL FIRE AT HMP ISLE OF WIGHT SEES FIRE CREWS RESPOND

Firefighters rushed to HMP Isle of Wight this morning (Tuesday) following reports of a fire in a cell Crews were called to HMP Isle of Wight at around 11:10, following reports of a fire in a cell. Firefighters worked quickly to extinguish the blaze before it managed to develop. The stop message came in at around 11:35, with crews quickly returning to station.
