FOLLOWING rumours that a Primark store is opening on the Isle of Wight, Island Echo have contacted the company to investigate.
It has been rumoured that the much loved chain will be opening a Newport branch in the coming months with potential sites including the former Bon Marché and Peacocks store, the former Millets store and even the now empty Argos warehouse at Gunville.
A spokesperson for the company gave “no comment” when challenged with the question, “Is Primark opening a store on the Isle of Wight?”.
