UPDATED: Some 73 postcode areas are without power in the Ventnor area this morning (Thursday).
Shortly after 06:15 faults were reported on the network, which is affecting postcodes PO38 1AA through to PO38 1XY, alongside a few other isolated areas.
Engineers from Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) are working to resolve the issue, with power expected to be restored by 10:30.
UPDATE @ 11:35 – The majority of customers have now had power restored, however 6 postcodes remain without electricity this morning.
SSE hope that the postcodes PO38 1U- will have supplies restored by midday 16:00.
