UPDATED: A power cut is affecting homes and businesses in the Newchurch, Alverstone, Winford and Apse Heath areas this afternoon (Thursday).
At just before 13:00 supply was lost to a number of properties in the PO36 0 and PO36 9 region after a tractor collided with an electricity pole in a field.
At present a total of 38 post codes remain without electricity supply, however it is expected to be restored by 16:00.
Anyone with concerns or questions about the power cut should call 105 – the recently launched number for power cuts.
UPDATE – Power has now been restored to all properties.
