UPDATED: Hundreds of homes and businesses in the PO30 and PO31 areas are without power this evening (Tuesday).
Properties stretching from Shalfleet to Parkhurst and north towards Porchfield and Northwood have all been hit by the outage, which is currently affecting over 100 postcodes.
Scottish and Southern Electricity Network engineers anticipate power to be restored by 21:30.
UPDATE @ 19:52 – Power has been restored to the vast majority of properties, however Porchfield remains without.
