Homes and businesses in the St John’s area of Ryde are without power this afternoon (Tuesday).
Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks say they are aware of the issue, which occurred at just gone 14:00.
An engineer is expected on site by 15:00 and it is currently estimated that supplies should be restored by 17:30.
A total of 9 postcode areas are affected in PO33 1.
UPDATE @ 21:00 – Engineers are currently working on St Johns Hill to restore supplies.
Power is now expected to be restored by 02:00 tomorrow morning. A total of 5 postcode areas remain affected.
