A date for the Wroxall, Lowtherville and Bonchurch by-election has been announced following the recent resignation of Councillor Rodney Downer.
If it is contested the election will take place on 10th July.
The by-election was triggered following the resignation of Cllr Downer earlier this week. The Wroxall resident had occupied the seat since 2017.
2024 General Election candidate David Groocock (Conservative) was the first to throw his name into the mix earlier this week. Further candidates are expected to declare their interest in due course.
Polling Cards will be delivered in mid-June 2025. The last date to apply to ‘Register to Vote’ in this election, will be Tuesday 24th June 2025.
