Police are on the hunt for a man who is said to have exposed himself to a walker on Tennyson Down earlier this week. At around 08:30 yesterday (Tuesday), a woman in her 20s was walking along a footpath at Tennyson Down in the direction of Green Lane, when a man ran past her. The woman then noticed the man come to a stop further down the path where he exposed himself and committed an indecent act whilst looking in the woman’s direction. The man then walked off along a path heading towards the chalk pit. He is described as:
- White with a pale complexion
- Slim
- Aged in his 20s
- Approximately 5ft 8ins tall
- Short mousy brown hair
- Wearing dark blue shorts and a green Nike T-shirt which had a Nike tick logo on the right hand side of the chest.
Officers have been conducting enquiries, and are keen to hear from anyone with information that can assist us. Do you know who this man is? Have you seen him in the area? Did you witness anyone acting suspiciously in the area that day? Have you experienced any of this type of behaviour in the area previously? A Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson has said:
