The Police helicopter has attracted attention over Newport this afternoon (Thursday) by using its rarely-heard siren as it came into land at Seaclose Park.
At around 16:10 the Bournemouth-based National Police Air Service helicopter began circling the Fairlee Road area of Newport and after several loops landed at Seaclose Park.
The blue and yellow chopper took off again by 16:40, although it is currently unclear as to why it landed in the first place. It is thought it could be in relation to aerial photography of the Atkinson Drive area.
