Police have cordoned off part of a busy street in Shanklin this morning (Saturday) following a serious incident in the early hours.
It was at around dawn that emergency services responded to the Sibden Mews area of Victoria Avenue, where a crime scene has now been established with officers keeping guard.
Sibden Mews is often the subject to Police activity.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary is yet to comment on the matter, including whether it is connected to another overnight incident in Brading.
UPDATE – Police have confirmed that the incidents in Shanklin and Brading are linked, with 2 males injured – and arrested.
