Police have cordoned off a pharmacy in Ryde as investigations get underway into a break-in that occurred overnight.
Officers are in attendance at Boots on Rink Road this morning (Tuesday), where a side window has been smashed to gain access to the lower-ground level premises.
It is unclear at this stage if anything has been taken.
The store is closed with a cordon in place across the main entrance and a side alley.
UPDATE @ 12:04 – Police have confirmed that a quantity of medication has been stolen.
The force was alerted at 00:13 this morning to reports of a break-in at Boots.
An investigation is underway and officers are carrying out enquiries.
