The Cowes Floating Bridge is to be suspended for several days next week.
Between 05:00 on Monday 23rd September and 05:00 on Friday 27th September, planned maintenance will take place.
The works are to enable the replacement of the North and South drive chains across the river, other ancillary works will additionally take place during this time.
A launch service will be in place for cyclists and pedestrians during this time. The launch will run each day from 05:00 to 22:50.
The Isle of Wight Council has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
