A duo of teenage boys – aged just 13 and 14 – have been arrested on suspicion of burglary following an incident in Binstead earlier today (Monday).
Police were first called at 14:40 to reports of a burglary at an address on Church Road.
At the scene, 2 teenage boys were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that both boys remain in police custody this afternoon.
At the same time, Coastguard Rescue Officers from Bembridge were responding to the discovery of an unexploded pyrotechnic device just 200m down the road on Players Beach – as previously reported by Island Echo.
Police have confirmed that both matters are unrelated.
What ever happened to Borstals, these Numpty’s
need locking up.
