The Isle of Wight Morris Minor Owners Club held their Annual Rally at the start of September, raising £250 for The Phoenix Project IOW.
Over 50 Morris Minors attended, many from the Island but also over half coming over from the mainland.
There were also around 30 other classic vehicles including Fords, Minis, MGs and Triumphs, some from as far back as the 1930s. The Old Girl open-top bus attended the event, giving mystery tours throughout the day. There was also live music and falconry displays courtesy of Haven Falconry.
The club held a tombola at the event and raised £251.50 for their nominated charity, The Phoenix Project IOW.
Treasurer Jonathan Lewis presented a cheque for the funds raised at the Phoenix Centre in Ryde last week, with some members bringing along their cars so the service users could enjoy seeing them.
The Phoenix Project provides day activities for adults with learning disabilities and autism, including swimming, woodwork, arts & crafts, gardening and cooking.
