Orchard House Care Home had an amazing celebration for National Cream Tea Day with their residents indulging in delicious homemade scones made by their talented chef, Clair.
Cream tea is a quintessentially British tradition, and the combination of fluffy scones, clotted cream, and strawberry jam brought smiles to the faces of the residents and created a wonderful atmosphere of togetherness. The aroma of freshly baked scones filled the air, and everyone couldn’t resist the warm, buttery treats.
Recently, the residents of Orchard House Care Home also enjoyed a wonderful day out at Freshwater Bay. They found the bay to be stunning and peaceful, and indulged themselves with some delightful ice cream and cappuccino. It was a fantastic experience for everyone involved!
But the fun never stops at Orchard House and on Tuesday they held an absolutely fantastic bingo night with the residents. The energy, laughter, and friendly competition made it a truly memorable evening for everyone involved.
After all that excitement, a change of pace was required and so the residents kicked off yesterday (Wednesday) with a wonderful celebration of International Yoga Day.
The residents were absolutely thrilled to participate in some armchair yoga and the tranquil atmosphere, gentle stretches, and calming breaths allowed them to find balance and harmony together.

I bet the old folk enjoyed that a lot more than those at the Limes Residential Home in Bembridge who had to sit through Pride ‘celebrations’ and a talk about being gay and LGBT issues.
