Orchard House Care Home residents got into the festival spirit at the weekend with some celebratory glasses of H20.
Activities co-ordinator Katie Schlepp said:
“We had a fantastic morning with them in the garden, enjoying the sunshine and soaking up the festival feeling.

“There’s something magical about gathering together and celebrating life’s joys. Our residents know how to make every moment count and create unforgettable memories.
“Our lovely residents had a fantastic time cooling off in the paddling pool and enjoying refreshing drinks. But amidst the fun, let’s not forget to stay hydrated. Remember, it’s important to drink enough water and avoid dehydration.”
Orchard House also celebrated Fathers’ Day on Sunday (18th June).

Residents were entertained by tap dancer Maurice.

“We had an amazing celebration at the Orchard House, where our residents had a truly memorable time. The highlight of the day was our special guest entertainer, Maurice the tap dancer. He dazzled everyone with his incredible talent and brought smiles to all the fathers’ faces.
“The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as Maurice showcased his fantastic moves, tapping to the rhythm of our residents’ applause.
“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Maurice for gracing our Father’s Day celebration with his exceptional skills. His energy and enthusiasm created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
“To all the fathers out there, we want to send our warmest wishes on this special day. Your love, guidance, and presence in our lives make a significant impact, and we honour and appreciate you today and every day.
