The Isle of Wight’s coroner, Caroline Summary, has ruled an open conclusion into the death of a 58-year-old woman from Shanklin, whose body was found at the foot of Culver Cliff in the Summer.
As previously reported by Island Echo, Coastguard Rescue Teams from Bembridge and Ventnor recovered the body of 58-year-old Pamela Melville at Yaverland Beach on Monday 11th August after Police discovered a handbag at the top of Culver Down.
Mrs Melville, 58, of Landguard Road, Shanklin died from multiple traumatic injuries.
An inquest into Mrs Melville’s death was brought to an end with an open conclusion.
