A 22-year-old man who was arrested after an assault in Cowes back in October will face no further action. Police were called to Arctic Road on 1st October to reports of a man having been assaulted with a baseball bat. A man in his 20s sustained an injury to his head. A local male was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and later bailed. Now, Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that the 22-year-old has been released with no further action.
