Island residents are being reminded that rubbish and recycling collections will not be affected over the May Day (1st May) bank holiday.
The Isle of Wight Council has confirmed there will be no change to your waste/recycling collection service for Monday 1st May, nor any other collection days that week.
Local tips at Lynnbottom and Afton Marsh will remain open as normal, but Islanders must still book dump runs in advance.
Those households due a collection on Monday are asked to put their waste out as early as normal by 07:00.
