Members of the Newchurch Male Voice Choir recently presented a cheque for £1,400 to the Stroke Unit at St Mary’s Hospital. Choir members presented Clinical Lead Vickki Owen and Consultant Stroke Nurse Jeannine Johnson with the cheque. This is the proceeds from the audiences at the choir’s concerts throughout 2023. “The men love singing and bringing pleasure to the Island audiences at our concerts and this presentation gives us the pleasure of knowing that the wonderful work of the Stroke Unit staff will be made a little easier with this addition to their funds”.
