Youngsters aged 13-16 and living on the Isle of Wight are being invited to join the Island’s Police Cadets this September.
The Volunteer Police Cadets meet at the Isle of Wight College every Wednesday evening during school term time, between the hours of 18:30-20:30.
Cadets are provided with the opportunity to learn about the Police, develop new skills and experience, perform public-facing duties within the community and volunteer in exciting policing initiatives. Most recently, cadets joined an emergency services day at Tapnell Farm.
The scheme is for anyone aged 13 to 18 with applications invited from those aged 13-16, with the next intake being in September 2022. What’s more, it’s free to join!

Due to an anticipated high number of applicants the closing date for expressions of interest is 31st May 2022. After this date, you will be invited to one of the upcoming open days.
