NEW NAME FOR ISLE OF WIGHT’S 2-DAY CLASSIC CAR SHOW

The Isle of Wight’s 2-day classic car extravaganza has been rebranded with a brand new name, to reflect the show’s new direction in 2024 and beyond. For 22 years, the Isle of Wight International Classic Car Extravaganza has been a staple of the Island’s events calendar, attracting thousands of visitors to both Ryde and Newport. In 2023, more than 570 cars were put on display for all to enjoy. Now, under the helm of Paddy McHugh, the show is taking a slightly new direction and will be known as the Isle of Wight Classic Motor Show. This will encompass a wider range of vehicles, such as military, commercial classics and tractors. For 2024, the show will return to its traditional format of being hosted in Newport on the Saturday (7th September) and Ryde on the Sunday (8th September) – supporting the local economy in both of the Island’s major towns. Anyone wishing to enter their classic motor is encouraged to email [email protected] at the earliest opportunity, with more than 300 vehicles already registered.
