Christmas has come early for Friends of the Animals, thanks to the incredible generosity of Needles Lodge 2838, who have raised an impressive £4,000 to support the charity’s work.
The money was raised through a range of activities, including a summer BBQ, a Ladies Festival at Yarmouth Yacht Club, and multiple raffles held over the past year.
The entire donation will go directly towards helping animals in need, funding essential care, rescue efforts, and rehoming services provided by Friends of the Animals.
Keith Coomber shares a personal connection to the charity having adopted Hugo—a springer spaniel— through Friends of the Animals.
With veterinary costs soaring and demand for rescue services growing, donations are crucial in providing support, and community efforts can truly change the lives of the island’s animals.
