The National Trust has launched an ‘Explorer Pass’ that allows reduced-cost access to properties across the Isle of Wight for up to 7 days in 1 convenient ticket.
The new pass gives entry to the Needles Old Battery, Mottistone Gardens, Bembridge Windmill and the Newtown National Nature Reserve visitor point. It also covers all the National Trust car parks on the Island.
Gary Meek, Visitor Operations & Experience Manager, says:
“The pass is designed to encourage visitors to the Isle of Wight to visit more of our National Trust properties, sites, and experience more of our places. It is designed to appeal to visitors to Isle of Wight throughout the season as well as residents who would find it ideal during school holiday periods.”
“We hope that once visitors experience th benefits of the Explorer Pass, they will go on to support us by taking National Trust Membership, which funds our conservation work and gives access to our special places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.”
The Isle of Wight Explorer Pass can be purchased in person at pay-for-entry properties and at the Newtown visitor point. They will also be available through ferry operators as an additional purchase in conjunction with a ferry travel booking to the Isle of Wight.
Prices for the 2022 Isle of Wight Explorer Pass are £16 for an individual adult, £24 for a 1 adult family ticket and £40 for a 2 adult family ticket.

Why not just reduce the prices without all this “you have to have a pass” nonsense. After all a lot of “attractions” here are so sad and tired compared to mainland ones, and a lot cheaper too.
