The Classic Boat Museum Gallery in East Cowes is offering free entry for any visitor that has a National Lottery ticket on Saturday (9th July).
On the day the museum will also offer introductory sessions on the dinghy simulator which was funded by the National Heritage Fund Lottery Grant.
The dinghy simulator is great fun and for all abilities. For all those who have never sailed before it is an opportunity to learn to sail without getting cold and wet! For experienced dinghy sailors its great for perfecting your technique.
Using gaming technology, sailors sit inside a life-sized cockpit and experience the physical sensations of steering and controlling the boat, whilst seeing the results of their actions live on screen.
This is sure to be popular and will be on a first come, first-served basis.
The museum will be open 10:00-16:00. Visitors will need to show either a paper or digital lottery ticket.
