A motorcyclist is being treated by medics after coming off his motorcycle in Ryde this morning (Tuesday).
The incident, which hasn’t involved any other vehicles, has occurred on the junction of St John’s Road and Quarry Road, near the train station.
Police are in attendance and a St John Ambulance medic is tending to the injured biker, who is laid on the road.
The incident occurred just before 11:00.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary has said:
“We were called out at 10.46am this morning (30 Nov) following a report of a single-vehicle collision at the junction of Quarry Road and Daniel Street in Ryde.
“A motorcyclist has come off their bike”.
The road remains open under give and take, directed by Police.
UPDATE @ 12:15 – St John’s Road has now been closed in both directions. As a result, traffic is heading in the heavy.

That corner is always greasy / treacherous. Its not helped by the white van that is illegally parked on the double yellow lines most days.
