Red Squirrel Property Shop raised more than £10,000 for Mountbatten Hospice during 2 charitable events last month.
On 14th September, the Newport-based estate agent hosted a charity ball in memory of CEO Charlie Panayi’s sister, Zoe. Over 160 people attended the black-tie event at the Royal Solent in Yarmouth.
Zoe lost her life to skin cancer in May 2020, 3 years after she was given a false ‘all-clear’ diagnosis.
Overall, a total of £8,847.15 was raised for Mountbatten on the night.
Charlie says:
“It was an honour to see how many kind-hearted businesses and individuals came together to support, contribute auction prizes, attend, and donate. Without your generosity, this wouldn’t have been possible.”
A little over a week later, a 19-strong Red Squirrel team took part in the London Tough Mudder 15k, once again in memory of Charlie’s sister Zoe Panayi.
The Tough Mudder team have so far raised a little over £2,300 for Mountbatten. Anyone wishing to donate the cause can do so here.
