Over 70’s should be on the bus. You want to improve road safety AND increase bus use, put an age cap on driving licences.
What part of ‘released without further action’ did you not understand?
What planet are you from? What about people who just ‘step out’ without looking, or mobile phone zombies. There’s already enough freeloaders on the bus as it is.
I agree with you to some extent, I think once a person gets to 70 they should retake a test. Too many times I’ve had near misses due to an older person not having any lane discipline, especially on the Asda roundabout. I’m then left feeling bad for having to use my horn to alert them of my presence.
The important thing about this story is I hope the pedestrian makes a full and speedy recovery.
And those who drive with no tax or insurance and think the road belongs to just them??? Not just over 70’s!!
There is just a bad attitude to driving on this island a lot just don’t care it needs to be stopped and punishment need to be harder. You are in charge of a vehicle then you have to take responsibility for your driving and your actions
