A strong crowd headed to the advent concert at St. Mary’s Church in Brading last week. The church was decorated with many Christmas trees adding to the start of the festive season. Entertainment on the night was supplied by Brading Choir and Wight Ukers, whilst Scottish Fiddlers enhanced the festive mood with their lively music. St. Mary’s is an integral part of the Brading community and so the retiring collection of £620 will be going to support one of the families displaced following a devastating fire on New Road in Brading last week, as first reported by Island Echo.
