Friends of the Animals volunteer Pat Metcalf completed a tandem skydive last week to raise money for the charity.
Last Thursday (10th August), volunteer Pat completed the daring feat to raise funds for the animal charity, which is based on Riverway Industrial Estate in Newport.
Pat has not long celebrated her 80th birthday.
Pat had previously attempted to complete the skydive back in July, however, last-minute cancellations meant she couldn’t take to the skies.
A Friends of the Animals spokesperson has said:
“Our Pat has done it, we couldn’t be prouder of her.”
You can still donate via the Friends of the Animals website or by calling the office on 01983 522 511. The total raised by Pat’s efforts will be announced soon.
