Over 1,000 model cars have been donated to charities both on the Island and the mainland thanks to Island business Faz’s Diecast and their customers.
Dan and the team at the model car retailer were already going to do a donation of diecast models this Christmas, but decided to invite their customers to take part too. As a result, a total of 1,000 model vehicles have been donated to their chosen charities including Homestart, St Mary’s Hospital’s Children’s Ward and Beaulieu House.
Some of the cars will also be sent to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
Owner of Faz’z Diecast, Dan Farrow, has said:
“We couldn’t have donated so many hot wheels cars if it wasn’t for our amazing customers, I can’t thank them enough.
“The amount of support and donations we received was incredible. can’t wait to do it again next year.”
