50-year-old Jason Mark Holbrook from East Cowes, who was allegedly seen masturbating in his van just metres from a child’s play park, has been charged with outraging public decency and will appear before the courts next month.
As previously reported by Island Echo, Police were called at 13:09 on 29th April to reports of a man conducting an indecent act in a van on Elm Grove, Newport.
After initial inquiries, a 50-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and bailed several times, with conditions, until 15th October.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has now confirmed that 50-year-old Jason Mark Holbrook, of St James Close in East Cowes, has been charged with outraging public decency.
Holbrook has been bailed to attend the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court on 12th November.
