So no going to jail 5 years like it was meant to be just a few years ago…..
Bob the jails are overcrowded.
They should release petty criminals who are inside for not paying
Council tax etc, that would make room for the dangerous knife carrying
villains.
Or even return every single immigrant after their prison term with no re-entry.
Along with every illegal as they have deliberately committed a crime by coming here illegally from day one.
That would make more room and save millions, along with improving living standards for all. A win win with out one single Brit being affected
Ah but they would be affected. It costs £47k a year to keep an offender in jail, and any immigrant offender is already automatically deported once released. Furthermore the ‘illegals’ of which you speak who are in prison (rightly) for being here illegally is….387. The rest are NOT deemed illegal. We will be deporting those people and save you your thru’pence ha’penny.
If he didn’t have a knife, he didn’t have a knife (assuming bus seats were checked.)
Tories don’t want to pay for law and order. Cheaper to pretend to care.
Re read it again Bob there was no bladed article found so there would be no need for a arrest if they did it would be kidnapping and false imprisonment
If you actually read the article is states no bladed weapon was found so why would he get 5 years for not having a weapon?
Assume they checked bus and CCTV in bus ?? If was a fake allegation has the reporter been spoken to and dealt with???
Likely dropped from the bus window while in motion. Need to soften him up and get a confession.
Police brutality went out in the 1970s mate, you’re a bit outdated there. It made for unsound convictions.
As long as these KNIVES are sold and presented in shop windows eg Newport and Yarmouth to name two, then people will buy them.
They have to be stopped from selling them at source or at least make them only able to buy with a licence, at least that would reduce the amount on the streets and names would available.
On line they are available to anyone stating they are 18….its a joke.
I see where you’re going, but it wouldn’t work. I have a Stanley knife, freely available in any good diy store and am over 18. And the bloke ^^ was over 40.
