A search of a car was carried out.

He remains in custody at this time.

Foot chase ? Must be on speed
descended on Quay Road area – probably means they knicked someone off the Hovercraft.
Without the fastcat running the Hover is probably the islands premier drugs route now
He was in a car as the post states, he left the car and ran away. Home grown idiot?
14.50 – About 5 minutes after the Hover would arrive – people do not drive into that car park at this time of year unless they are heading to the hover or picking someone up.
I heard, that the guy got off the Hover, went to the car park, got in a car, tried to drive away, saw the police, legged it from the car towards the bridge and got nicked.
Now bang the scum up
He won’t get much in the way of punishment. A fine, rehab course that’s all. It’s no deterrent is it. Will be selling again before to long.
Well done the Police and very many thanks. Keep up the good work.
Send the druggies to Afghanistan, plenty of the crap there too feed on…
Happy with that, my friend. Half of those swaggering fools who think they are potential ‘gangstas’ (sic.) would have permanent involuntary diarrhoea if they had to do a stint at merely subsisting in a less well ordered country, where one fights tooth and nail for survival. As you suggest they can have lots of drugs sponsored by our lovely friends, the Russian Federation (Federation? Who are they kidding? It ain’t Starfleet, and gassing kids in Syria was something even Rodenberry wouldn’t endorse!) and then, hopefully, be mentioned in The Times as collateral damage…
Drug running on the island is something we don’t need. These filthy dealers should start to understand they can’t get away with it. Should have put PD Bolt onto him……..
drug running on the island has been going on for decades – how else does the cocaine, heroin and ecstasy get onto the island – the ferries.
Orchard Bay, Woody Bay, Castle Haven…. Engines in the middle of the night…. Kipling’s poem: ‘Brandy for the Parson baccy for the clerk, so watch the wall, my darling while the gentlemen go by.’ Any night when the moon is big and the sea is small. Three cheers for the brave lads at our Customs House which operates for a fortnight around Cowes Week, then closes for over eleven months. Our leaders’ kids are all on it so nothing will be done…
The problem is you call them all scum, and in certain cases yes they truly are! The ones who choose to drop pins in the street and endanger ourselves and children, the problem I have is your so quick to judge but I bet you’ve dabbled in it yourself, I’m not defending anyone here. Nobody is perfect so don’t act like you are!
Dabbled in it………get real. And as for perfect, almost!!!!!!!!!
I don’t get it. I’ve heard of skirt chasing, but why would anyone chase a foot?
Plenty more of such arriving soon, when the hedges, trees, wildlife and fields are replaced with boxes and the quality within.
Yes your right, and we are powerless to stop it, elections change nothing…just more of the same…
When we were at school the head of the local police gave us a talk on Heroin. He was so off his tits we couldn’t understand a word he said.
