MAN ARRESTED AFTER EXPOSING HIMSELF AT BUSY BEACH IN SANDOWN

A 21-year-old man has been arrested following an exposure incident in The Bay yesterday (Monday 5th August). Police were deployed following reports of a male exposing himself on Sandown Beach. Using their E-bikes, Police were quickly on scene and arrested a 21-year-old male from Lake on suspicion of Indecent Exposure. During the arrest procedure, the male proceeded to assault 2 Police officers. The assistance of the public, RNLI lifeguards and on and off-duty Police officers was required in restraining the male who was subsequently taken into Police custody.
