Breathe Easy Isle of Wight is hosting a lung health and well-being event at Arreton Village Hall this September.
Jointly hosted with the help of Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis there will be representatives from both groups available to chat to. Anyone is welcome to the event who is living with a chronic respiratory condition and there will be a chance to chat to NHS Respiratory Healthcare Professionals and find out the various support networks available.
Whether it’s advice on inhaler techniques, how to cope with breathlessness, dietary advice, medication advice or how to stay active, people at the event are on hand to help you.
Breathe Easy is particularly interested in chatting to Islanders living with Pulmonary Fibrosis to get an idea of the support they would like to see on the island for those managing this respiratory condition and other interstitial lung diseases. Additionally, there will be the opportunity to relax and enjoy refreshments and cakes and take part in a raffle and a Guess the Weight of the Cake – all in aid of Breathe Easy Isle of Wight.
The event is being held at Arreton Village Hall on 14th September 2024 from 10:30 – 14:30.
