She will be spoken to again by Police at a later date when the results of the blood analysis are delivered.

Another crash. Yaaaawwwwn!!!!
I wonder if it was an islander or mainlander
Why does it matter? There are plenty of uninsured, drunk or doped up drivers living on our Island as recent articles have demonstrated.
Stupid bitch, needs the book throwing at her
Quite agree with you, hope she reduced to using the Bus from now on grrrr all the costs involved too
Why drink and drive home when you can smoke dope and fly home..
Calm down it’s only a joke..
i saw the funny side lol
Now ban her for life could of been a person she hit
I hope the driver concerned gets to read this. I left Robin Hill just before 9 pm and travelled down long lane to Newport – thank God that it was a telegraph pole she hit and not me with my 3 precious young grandchildren aboard
No sympathy whatsoever, make her learn her lesson
Probably over from the mainland making the most of a pub crawl
What in a car on her own? Seems unlikely.
I hope the telegraph pole is ok and not too badly hurt. Couldn’t care less about the driver
Can you not go to a pub on your own then?
Yes i can but bringing a car over on a boat is very expensive if there is only one of you
I also said it was unlikely not impossible
Why would you even think of driving, if you’ve had a drink.
Getting your licence is hard to get, but so easy to loss.
It will impact your insurance for years to come.
Possible job lose
Or even a prison sentence.
Having the possible death of someone else’s life on your hands.
It goes on…… all for a drink. I don’t understand the mentality.
Well that’s her Christmas ruined, sure hope she learns her lesson after that
Bit of a wake up call, if this is her first offence. Maybe she needs to also look at her drinking habits. So many people are alcoholics and don’t know it.
Not the run away telegraph pole again.
In fairness have seen them walking around like triffid!
Lock her up for Christmas.
Straight down to the comments to see the Isle of Wight population revealing their true colours.
Yes as we have more sense than to drink and drive !!!!
