A record crowd turned out for the Nettlestone & Seaview Community Street Fayre last week.
The event, held on the May Day Bank Holiday, saw over 40 stalls line Madeira Road in Seaview.
Plants, books, toys, wooden gifts, jewellery and candles were just some of the wares on offer for both locals and visitors – one of which was comedian and actor Stephen Merchant.
Music and refreshments were served whilst a total of £1,180 was raised for the Nettlestone & Seaview Community Partnership which will enable them to finance the next event which is the fabulous Party on the Prom which takes place on Saturday, 22nd July.
Shame it wasn’t advertised very well. It would have been nice to go.
Go next year same old stuff will be for sale like years before
