Teresa Leiva, a consultant anaesthetist at St Mary’s hospital in Newport will be running the Copenhagen marathon in May along with her husband Javier, daughter Ana and son Marcos to raise funds for the Mountbatten hospice on the Isle of Wight.
The Mountbatten charity provides care and support for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as offering bereavement support and education to healthcare professionals. As a local healthcare provider, Teresa has seen first-hand the incredible impact that this charity has on our community.
You can donate to the family’s fundraiser here.
