This is your weekly round-up of some of the latest court cases heard at the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court.

Monday 6th March – Friday 10th March 2023
• Tyler Hetherington, 19, of High Street in Ryde, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. The order was varied with 30 hours of unpaid work added. He was ordered to pay £60 costs.
• Kevin Greenwood, 43, of West Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5000 and theft from a motor vehicle. He was ordered to pay £80 compensation, a £80 fine and £85 costs.
• William Kinley, 59, of Albert Street, Ventnor pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge.
• Robert Mccamley, 41, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to 10 counts of theft from a shop. He was made subject to a 18-month community order with 15 rehabilitation days and a 9 month alcohol treatment requirement. He was also ordered to pay a total of £249.45 in compensation.
• Paul Sainsbury, 68, of Leeson Road, Ventnor pleaded guilty to 3 counts of persistently make use of public communication network to cause annoyance / inconvenience / anxiety. He was handed a 12-week prison sentence, suspended for 24 months, and ordered to complete an alcohol abstinence and monitoring requirement for 90 days and 25 rehabilitation days. He was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £154 surcharge.

Tow away Twats who park on pavements.
