Monday 5th February – Friday 9th February 2024
• Robert Williams, 35, of Beauchamp Road, Newport pleaded guilty to 2x assault by beating of an emergency worker, criminal damage and theft from a shop. He was fined £280 and ordered to pay £430 compensation. • Conor Broome, 25, of Grange Road, Shanklin pleaded guilty to drug driving (cannabis). He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge. • Billy Chilcott, 29, of Green Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was handed a 6-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20.50 compensation. • Nino Cavanagh, 30, of Trinity Road, Ventnor pleaded guilty to 4x theft from a shop. He was ordered to pay a £40 fine and £68.30 compensation. • Joshua Green, 34, of Windmill Close, Cowes pleaded guilty to assault by beating and criminal damage. He was made subject to a 12-motnh community order with 30 rehabilitation days attached. • Bradley Tolfrey, 23, of Newport Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for 36 months, fined £80 and made subject to a 12-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days attached. • Steven Yeo, 26, of Park Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to possession of an offensive weapon (knuckle dusters) obstruct/resist a constable in execution of duty, possession of a controlled drug of Class B, theft from a shop, common assault of an emergency worker and common assault. He was ordered to pay a £200 fine and £100 compensation. • Ben Williams, 21, ofHigh Street, Ventnor pleaded guilty to common assault. He was fined £184 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
