Monday 22nd January – Friday 26th January 2024
• Lorelei Fisher, 18, of Carter Avenue, Shanklin pleaded guilty to criminal damage and 3 charges of theft from a shop. She was ordered to pay £149.45 compensation and was fined £120, as well as being ordered to pay £85 costs. She also admitted that she failed to observe a daily curfew, as part of her bail conditions. • Jamie Jaggard, 26, of St Johns Avenue, Ryde pleaded guilty to drink driving (199 in blood). He was banned from driving for 20 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £48 surcharge. • Matthew Lewendon, 52, of Fort Street, Sandown pleaded guilty to using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour to cause harassment / alarm / distress. He was ordered to pay £20 compensation and was fined £120. • Sasha Bryan, 44, of Kent Street, Ryde pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £36.97 compensation and £85 costs. • Benjamin Haycox, 33, of Wilnecote, Tamworth, Staffordshire pleaded guilty to drink driving (42). He was banned from driving for 36 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs. • Robert Mccamley, 42, of Fort Street, Sandown pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was ordered to pay £100 compensation. • Rajinder Kumar, 41, of Great Preston Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, drug driving (cannabis), drug driving (BZE) and using a motor vehicle without insurance. He was banned from driving for 48 months and made subject to a 18-month community order with 30 rehabilitation days and 270 hours of unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £650 costs and £114 surcharge. • Alan Cassford, 23, of Great Preston Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to failing to stop, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and driving without insurance. He was banned from driving for 12 months, fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £114 surcharge. He was made subject to an 18-month community order with 30 rehabilitation days attached. • Dolan Mabey, 49, of Swanmore Road, Ryde pleaded guilty to drink driving (203 in blood). He was banned from driving for 22 months and made subject to a 12-month community order with 20 rehabilitation days and 180 hours of unpaid work attached. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge. • Ian Wathen, 42, of care of Crossways, Bembridge pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £24.06 compensation. • Lennon Lowman, 19, of Staplers Road, Newport pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug of Class B – cannabis. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £40 costs. • Angie Holroyd, 46, ofFort Street, Sandown pleaded guilty to theft from a shop. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay a £48 surcharge. • Nathan Payne, 40, of Regent Street, Shanklin pleaded guilty to drink driving (70). He was banned from driving for 20 onths, fined £311 and ordered to pay £85 costs with a £124 surcharge.
Single Justice Procedure Cases
• John Abbott, of Station Avenue in Sandown for speeding. He was fined £320 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £128 surcharge fee. His licence was endorsed with 5 penalty points. • Ian Smy, of Robin Hood Street in Newport for speeding. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay a £16 surcharge fee. His licence was endorsed with 3 penalty points. • Kerry Whittington, of Church Path in East Cowes for speeding. She was fined £418 and ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £167 surcharge fee. Her licence was endorsed with 4 penalty points. • Aidan Stansfield, of Pyle Street in Newport for keeping a vehicle without a valid licence. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs of £85. He was also ordered to pay back duty of £53.34. • Amy Marquiero, of Carisbrooke Road in Newport for keeping a vehicle without a valid vehicle licence. She was fined £120 and ordered to pay costs of £85. She was also ordered to pay £116.67 back duty. • Denise Robertson, of Hillway Road in Bembridge, for speeding. She was fined £115 and a ordered to pay costs of £90 and a £48 surcharge fee. Her licence was endorsed with 3 penalty points.
