A pair of teens have been arrested following an incident in which a boy was allegedly threatened with a knife on a Southern Vectis bus last night (Sunday).
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary were called at 21:49 to reports that a boy had been threatened on a Southern Vectis bus.
Police located and stopped the bus on Ventnor High Street and detained 3 teenagers. A small flick knife was found during searches of the teens.
A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill, whilst another boy – aged 15 – was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place.
Police have confirmed that both boys remain in custody this morning (Monday) whilst inquiries continue.
