JO SMITH WALKS 70 MILES TO RAISE FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR ISLAND CHARITY JOHN’S CLUB

Jo Smith has completed a 70-mile walk around the coastal path of the Isle of Wight to promote and raise funds for the local charity John’s Club.

Jo started walking at 10:00 on Saturday (20th May) in West Cowes and completed the walk at 20:30 on Sunday in East Cowes – an amazing challenge.

She walked all through Saturday night and was accompanied by club members at different locations along the route which was a fantastic and memorable achievement for the members.

John Phillips founder and chairman of John’s Club, who is also Jo’s father, said:

“I cannot say how proud we are as a club on this achievement. This is an incredible achievement and I am blown away by her determination and willpower to complete the challenge.”
